Sophie HERTZOG
President AIS and UFAAP
This is in 2005, After having been a client of the agency Accueil International for several years as a host family, I decided to continue the work started since the creation of the agency in 1985. This is the birth of Accueil International Services (AIS ). Since then, I am proud to have enabled hundreds of families and candidates experience life abroad through our programs and feel the benefits daily.
After assuming the vice-presidency of UFAAP for 4 years. I was elected president of UFAAP in 2017 and my mandate was renewed in 2020. Since that date, I have endeavored to carry out actions with French (Ministry of the Interior, social security) and international (IAPA) institutions in order to contribute to the recognition of our profession as experts in Au Pair placement.
France is a major player in the Au Pair placement market at European and international level, we work with other national associations to better harmonize placements, for the greater benefit of young people and families.
UFAAP
AIS is a member of UFAAP (Union Française des Agences Au Pair), which is a group of agencies specializing in Au Pair placements.
UFAAP fights for this mode of childcare to retain its dimension of cultural exchange and to be protected from the excesses that the Au Pair system may experience, with the uncontrolled development of the Internet.
IAPA
AIS is a founding member of IAPA (International Au Pair Association) whose goal is to promote the Au Pair program around the world, while respecting the rights of Au Pairs and Host Families.
In 2009, AIS was named by IAPA a "long-time permanent member" as a guarantee of seriousness and reliability.
WETM
AIS is a member of WETM (Work Experience and Travel Market) which is an international referent of agencies around the world offering jobs, internships, AU PAIR placements, volunteer programs.
Every year, AIS participates in WETM, a unique opportunity to meet nearly 200 international agencies and partners. In 2019, the conference took place in Luxembourg. In 2020 the conference will take place from March 28 to 30 in Malta.
ALL AT SCHOOL
The international dimension of my profession put me in contact with the association "Tous à l'école" supported by Mrs. Tina KIEFFER, I consider that giving a future to poor girls and young girls in Cambodia gives meaning to my activity. The AIS agency is a partner of the association "Tous à l'école". Here is a report allowing to have an overview of the actions carried out by the association
WEST2PARIS
AIS is a partner of Ouest2paris, the first website that brings residents closer to traders, artisans, creators, entrepreneurs and associations in western Paris.
Ouest2paris shares tips, practical information and ideas for outings to the west of Paris, in the Yvelines and in the Hauts-de-Seine.
AIR CANADA
Since January 2022, UFAAP agencies, including the AIS agency, have benefited from an exclusive partnership with AIR CANADA allowing young people traveling to Canada to benefit from advantageous rates.
